About Jim Stovall
Jim Stovall is a retired journalism professor living on a small farm in Blount County, Tennessee. He taught journalism at the University of Alabama for 25 years, at Emory and Henry College for three years, and at the University of Tennessee for 10 years. He retired from teaching in 2016 and now devotes more time to painting, woodworking, gardening, writing, and learning to play the dulcimer (among other activities).
